So, Very Recently, I've Discovered That Writers And Producers Had Some Of The Details And The Plot Of What Would Have Been Timothy Dalton's Third Bond Film, Rumored To Be Titled As 'Property Of A Lady'.

I Know Dalton Had Signed On For Three Originally But I Thought The Legal Banter And Dalton Resigning From The Role Was Before They Had Any Kind Of Plot Set In Stone?

Can Anybody Shed Some Light On This, Because If They Did Have A Plot, And Even A Cast Planned, I'd Be Quite Interested To Hear It!

Ah, Quite Timely Harkin, Much Appreciated, Even If It Is Old News To Most!

I Must Say, I Would Have Really Loved To See This.

Dalton Engulfed In Setting Like Hong-Kong, With A Micro-terrorism Wrapped Plot!?
Would Have Been Very Interesting...

It would have been worth it just for the scene where Q and Denholm Crisp get sloshed.

There's no evidence this was ever going to be called The Property of a Lady. I have the treatment and it just says Bond 17. The fans are the ones who have attached this title to it.

honestly, i love Timothy Dalton as Bond but what ive read of this treatment makes it sound terrible and im very glad it didnt get made, would have loved to see Dalton in another Bond movie though (if this is the one with the robots??)

C'mon! A cybernetic assassin (Nan) would've totally fit seamlessly into the world of Bond...

...except for the part where it wouldn't at all.

I always felt it was a shame the series had to go on hiatus. I would have liked to see Dalton return to do a 3rd 007 film in 1992 on the 30th Anniversary of the franchise.

Here is a Youtube video I always enjoyed. This is the relationship I wish Bond had with M.

Sounds like it would have been a wicked 007 film.
