Hey gang,

So I'm working on this first person serial blog for a class and I always love getting feedback. I have no idea what direction it's going in but feel free to let me know what you think and how to improve it. Thanks!

Good work so far. I think it's got the potential to turn into a pretty good story as you go along.

Thanks a lot Tdalton! I have an idea of where I want to go with it, but the problem is, while I have actually been to Monsaraz, every other location I have my character visit will be pure guesswork. Still, I hope to at least entertain and engage whoever reads it.

I can definitely understand that problem. I've run into it with pretty much every location in the fan fiction project I'm working on with coco1997. What I usually end up doing is to look at some pictures of the location and do some reading on it as well and try to make it somewhat believable from there.

Looking forward to reading it. I'll probably get to it sometime this weekend.

The other night I awoke with sleep paralysis so I thought it'd be an interesting element to attempt to work into the story. It would also serve as a nice way to keep this chapter from merely laying out necessary exposition. Hope you like it!

I finally got around to reading Chapter 2. Very good stuff. I really liked the stuff at the beginning. I think you did a good job of getting the reader into the character's head, making us feel the sense of panic or anxiety that he was feeling. Good job.

I'll try to get around to Chapter 3 sometime in the next day or so.

And one more chapter to throw up before I take a bit of a break. A pivotal one, nevertheless. Hopefully a few of you out there read it and enjoy it! http://silhouette-th...e.blogspot.com/

Thanks Terminus! Like I said, a bit of a break is in order to organize my thoughts, but I'll be digging back in soon.

Just went to the blog - and it seems to have vanished. Intentional?

Yes! Sorry about that, forgot to let you guys know. I will be converting the story to the third person, so I had to bring the whole thing down. I'm also curious about the direction it's going in, and the mileage I can get out of it. The blog will instead (when I have the time) be converted into something almost identical, though instead it will be individual missions, rather than a prolonged narrative. Stay tuned!

Oh, that's good to hear - was worried you'd changed your mind about proceeding!
