The rooftop scene must be the last scene. I would speculate that what's in the box is something Kincade left for Bond. Something relating to his parents.

Based on some of the other photos - namely the night shoot in the downpour - the box is something that M owned.

Even so, it could still have come from Kincade. The keys to Skyfall Lodge would fit nicely in there, wouldn't they.

I think Kincade is a villain. Perhaps not someone who intends to kill Bond and/or wreak havoc across the countryside, but someone who has his own self-serving agenda that conflicts with Bond's intentions.

Yes, but he's also, effectively, Bond's father.

I think he tells Bond to take M to Skyfall Lodge, saying he'll follow on later, and he takes the keys out of that box.

That's the set-up for the finale.

But I think, ultimately, Kincade sacrifices himself to save Bond.

Perhaps. Perhaps not. I think he may be a father figure, a friend of Andrew Bond who watched out for James in his formative years, but didn't really get involved in his life, and once James became an adult, Kincade let him be.

Yes, and the other clapperboard. This is the first time we’ve got a second clapperboard for the same scene. And it is proof that that was not a sunset or a nuclear blast or whatever, but the house fire from across a moor or loch.

I wonder what the plot significance of Turkey itself is. Perhaps simply somewhere that Silva has business interests, but will be interesting to see.

Just a bit strange for Bond to go to Turkey twice in the film. Unless the former or latter is doubling for something else. I wonder if all the news reports got it all wrong and the PTS is something entirely different. Something we haven't heard of. Well, we'll soon see since we'll get a clapperboard of the train sequence sooner or later.

The pts someplace and, then, with the coordenates, Bond is in Turkey?

Assuming the co-ordinates refer to the train sequence, then that certainly appears to be in Turkey. Also, the cars used during Adana filming seemed to have Turkish registration plates. Istanbul is extremely unlikely to double for somewhere else, so I guess there are two separate sequences in Turkey.

That train sequence must take place somewhere between scenes 68 and 95 then. So, it seems likely that Bond and Eve follow Severine there from China.

Then there's a big gap in the plot between scenes 97 and 120. I should think some of those scenes will be set in Turkey, as well, before Bond gets back to England.

Hopefully the PTS involves some classic espionage and sleuthing through Istanbul's old town. There were rumours of some rooftop action being planned at the Grand Bazaar.

I thought it might involve Bond blowing up that yacht, as in Live and Let Die (the novel).

Interesting. Kind of reminds me of the first level of Bloodstone if that's the case. I'm sure there was Jet Ski scenes filmed as well. Maybe thats how Bond makes his getaway.

I think there was talk of jet skis being involved in the film at one point.

Mind you, the scenes with the yacht could just as easily take place after the railway sequence. It might even be Severine's yacht. She seems to be a wealthy and powerful person.

I too think this looks like some obviously secret passageway/hideout under either London or Scotland....maybe...?!
