I love 'Octopussy's Acrostar but give the edge to 'You Only Live Twice', as the Bond theme playing over as Nellie launches hell on those SPECTRE choppers is classic Bond action!

Does Adele's 'Skyfall' song deserve the Golden Globe and possible Oscar award?

YES - It's one of THE best in the 50 year run, and such a well crafted piece of work it's more than just a simple Bond theme, it's almost a character of the film itself.

OR

NO - It's good, but it's riding on the success of 'Skyfall' itself and without that it wouldn't be as good as people are making it now. There have been more deserving Bond theme songs.

(The only thing I did was add the exclamation point)

Would you rather the next Bond actor be 4' 6" or 8' 6"?

Ohh dear....I have to go for 8'6 and try for a story that involves either a new agent as James Bond undergoing physical drug manipulation to make him the most feared Government agent in the world or something, rather than a midget!

Which of the following "controversial" rumours would you rather come true...

A female lead as Agent 007

OR

A black male actor as James Bond

??

Hmm, probably a black male actor as Bond, although both just seem weird (not to sound racist or chauvinistic at all, as it isn't my intention).

Worst flub of a British accent:

Pierce Brosnan saying: BAHND, JAMES BAHND.

OR

Sean Connery voicing the entirety of the FRWL in this native scottish accent

?

hmm.. I am going to go with Pierce Brosnan, because I love Sean Connery's accent in From Russia with Love. It may be wrong, but I love it.

What would be worse..

Casting a Bond actor with a Scottish accent like Colin Farrel or Casting a Bond actor with an Australian accent like Chris Hemsworth

(assuming that they can't fake a british accent..)

I'd say that casting Chris Hemsworth (not that I have any idea who the hell he is)..At least George Lazenby worked on toning down his Australian accent for the role of Bond..

That fact that Bond survived the fall off the bridge in Skyfall's pre-titles...did it annoy you that it was never fully explained how he survived and made it to that Turkish coastal village OR nah, i just went with it, wasn't an essential part of the plot?

Chris Hemsworth played Thor and he is in the Avengers and he was in a horror film called A Cabin in the Woods and he was in the remake of Red Dawn! :) sorry that was the only australian actor I could think of at the moment.

What about Hugh Jackman? Or Alex O'Laughlin? They're Australian, but you did pick a good one. Anyway back to the game.....

Nah, it didn't really annoy me. There probably was a scene in the script that explained it, but cut. I just kind of assumed he was washed downriver and then washed up onto a beach where he either found his way to a doctor or was possibly rescued by the girl he was boinking a few minutes later in that beach shack. I find it a little odder that we never learn what happened to the bullet that Moneypenny shot him with.

Which is more likely:

Skyfall runs the table at the Oscars and wins all 5 awards it's nominated for

OR

Skyfall fails to win any of the awards and Bond is basically still shown the disdain by the Academy that it always has

?

Skyfall wins nothing, I just have a bad feeling and don't think they'll walk away with 5.

Which disguise is the strangest; turning Bond Japanese in YOLT OR the 3rd nipple from TMWTGG ?

Bond turning Japanese - he didn't even LOOK Japanese and I don't know who he fooled with it, pretty much no-one in the story. At least Fat was "taken in" by the passable 3rd nipple trick in 'The Man With The Golden Gun'.

Which gadget in Q-Branch in the Roger Moore era was the most pointless seen in his lab:

The ejector-spring-seat seen in 'The Spy Who Loved Me' throwing a dummy in the air in strange slo-mo

OR

The climbing rope seen in 'Octopussy' then collapsing over with the weight of a small man

??

Probably the ejector seat. It seemingly only threw the what, 5 lb, dummy about 2.5 ft in the air? At least the rope was an "experimental model."

Most ridiculous gadget Bond has ever had:

The submarine car from The Spy Who Loved Me

Or

The invisible car for Die Another Day

?

The submarine car. I mean...a car that turns into a submarine....?! Say it out loud. Although the "Vanish" was just as crazy but somehow I could see that happening somehow.

Pointless Q-Branch Gadget #2:

The air projectiled tea serving tray, ready for Achmed's tea party, as seen in 'The Spy Who Loved Me'

OR

The bagpipe flamethrower and machine gun, as seen in 'The World Is Not Enough'

??

Well you know what, I didn't think of any of those because I don't watch Hawaii Five O and Chris Hemsworth was the first I thought of.

The projectile for sure, I mean c'mon bagpipes that are a flamethrower seem so much cooler.!

Should the next James Bond movie have a traditional mission?

Yes or no.

(Alex O'Laughlin as Steve McGarrett...absolutely brilliant... Hawaii Five-O  is my favorite current TV show).

I'd say Yes, have Bond go on a traditional mission for Bond 24..

Bond director mix-up....Sam Mendes to direct Casino Royale OR Martin Campbell directs Skyfall,,,which one would you be more curious to see how it turned out?

I will say.. Sam Mendes to direct Casino Royale, it would be interesting to see how it would turn out..

Now I will post my question.

Traditional Bond Mission in the next Bond film?

Yes or No

Does anyone ever wonder how the hell Q was planning on hiding that to actually be able to use it?

Yes, Bond should have a more traditional mission. Be nice to see how Craig would handle it.

most ridiculous gadget part 2:

Bond's can-do-everything in the world phone 10 year prior to the release of the world's first generation of smart phones from Tomorrow Never Dies

OR

The jet pack from Thunderball

Phone from Tomorrow Never Dies. that Jet pack is awesome. I want that.

If James Bond had to make a quick escape in Bond 24 should he...

Fly a Helicopter

or

Use a Jetpack.

Have to go for the voice altering box! Such an easy plot device to make someone sound like someone else with no explanation apart from it being a magical Q invention so we all take it for granted.

Most pointless Q-Branch Gadget #3:

The B.T telephone box inflation device as seen in 'GoldenEye'

OR

The ejector seat desk chair, also seen in 'GoldenEye'

??

Have to go with the BT telephone box air-bag...I mean really, what use would that have?? At least the ejector seet desk could have it's uses..LOL..

Which was the goofier method of escape transportation for 007...Connery struggling to ride the Honda ATC90 three-wheeler in the desert in Diamonds Are Forever OR Bond and Anya escaping in Jaws' busted old van which breaks down in The Spy Who Loved Me?

Have to go with Bond/Anya escaping in Jaws' busted van just for the music that is played when it finally dies. As for the ATC90 in DAF, that isn't even the most ridiculous thing Connery uses in that chase.

Most ridiculous gadget number 4:

Q's completely odd robot dog thing from A View to a Kill

OR

The 720p LCD TV watch a full 20 years prior to the release of big screen HD TVS in Octopussy

?

I have to go with the watch for some reason, I suppose I didn't mind the AVTAK scene that much; classic Q ending scene.

Which gadget disguise was more ridiculous or far fetched; the bird on Bond's head in the GF or the crocodile boat in OP ?

Have to go with the crocodile boat in OP. It doesn't even look real. The bird helmet from GF actually seems somewhat plausible.

More OTT PTS stunt:

Flying the Acrostar Jet into the hangar with a missile in tow and the doors closing in Octopussy

OR

Using the rocket propulsion to move a speedboat through a restaurant and across roads in The World Is Not Enough

?

Has to be the Q-boat driving on land in 'The World Is Not Enough' - it worked super on water, but on land it shows the producers crossing the line a little TOO far again in the Brosnan era, making his James Bond able to do anything, anywhere.

Most pointless Q-Branch Gadget #4:

The exploding bolas, as demonstrated in 'Moonraker'. Not to be confused with balls.

OR

The mini-gun disguised as a sleeping hombre, again seen in 'Moonraker'.

The fact that Baron Samedi survived at the end of Live And Let Die and that we see him riding the train just before the end credits...did it make you feel...disappointed that he never did reappear in another Moore film OR stil hopefull that we could see a revamped Baron Samedi return for Daniel Craig's Bond?

Most Useless PTS plot device:

Bond's supposed "revenge" for Tracy's death by finding and killing Blofeld's clone in Diamonds Are Forever

OR

Jaws' falling 5 miles without a parachute and surviving in Moonraker

Have to say Bond's revenge on Blofled making mud pies in 'Diamonds Are Forever' - such a comical scene it's hardly karma for losing your wife!

Saddest death in a Bond film...

Vesper Lynd

OR

Tracy Bond

Vesper, but only because I personally felt more impacted by it. I first saw OHMSS when I was a kid so I didn't really "get it" when Tracy was killed. My seven or eight year old mind just saw it as another death in a Bond film. Not exactly surprising when you think of it in that way. Of course, I was later enlightened as I got older, but still, I have to go with Vesper namely because I felt it more.

What is the more disappointing Bond car moment?

The gadget-laden BMW in GoldenEye which is fully described yet a single gadget is never used on it.

OR

Anya's surprise/shock when the Lotus turns into a submarine even though she apparently knows all about it having "stolen the blueprints" years ago.

Bigger plot hole:

Silva blinding take the bait and following Bond/M to Skyfall instead of threatening them to come to him

OR

Dr. Jones and Col. Akakeivich allowing Bond and the rest of the team into the silo despite being suspicious of all of them

?
