Bond and Eve in the Macau casino in 'Skyfall'. The opening singular take is brilliant and very well done.

What is best about 'Skyfall'?

The cinematography

OR

The soundtrack

??

The soundtrack, I once in a while throw in a soundtrack to listen to but I can't enjoy the cinematography by itself unless I mute the sound which I never do.

What is your favourite Shirley Bassey title song, Goldfinger, Diamonds Are Forever OR Moonraker?

I think 'Moonraker'. On recent listenings to them all, 'Goldfinger' is great, very 60s, 'Diamonds Are Forever' is a little boring but 'Moonraker' is very beautiful, dream-like and lets Bassey use her haunting powerful vocals which I think are underestimated in this song.

Which Bond film would you have liked to have a theme song for the title sequence more...

'From Russia With Love' with "From Russia With Love" by Matt Monro

OR

'On Her Majesty's Secret Service' with "We Have All The Time In The World" by Louis Armstrong

??

Probably Matt Monro's vocalized "From Russia With Love", except it's too slow, tempo-wise for the belly dancer in the title sequence... OHMSS is PERFECT the way it is with John Barry's instrumental theme.

Classic Maurice Binder Bond film title sequences you'd like to see Daniel Kleinman do his own interpretation of (just for fun)... Dr. No, The Spy Who Loved Me OR Thunderball?

I think 'The Spy Who Loved Me' could be as iconic as 'GoldenEye' with use of symbols, flags etc.

Which Bond villain would you re-cast if you had the choice of whoever you want...

Georgi Koskov in 'The Living Daylights'

OR

Aris Kristatos in 'For Your Eyes Only'

Tough one, as both have good moments, but slow ones too. I think it will be 'Die Another Day', which just seems to keep the pace and enjoyment going that bit more than 'The World Is Not Enough', bar the excellent pre-titles.

In 'Skyfall', the relationship between Bond and Moneypenny is open-ended in one scene, the Macau hotel room. Do you think, after the shave, they slept together?

YES - Bond already was working on her blouse, and not even Moneypenny would resist the passion and intensity of that moment

OR

NO - Moneypenny knows her boundaries, and keeping Bond in line is part of what their relationship will be based on

Say that Craig's Bond is in a rock band in the next Bond film, as part of an undercover disguise...should he be.. the lead singer, the lead guitarist, the bassist or drummer?

Bassists I think would be the easiest for him to pretend to be, although drummer would let him hide in the back and draw less attention to him self.

Which scene featuring the films theme song did you enjoy most;

You know, I have to give the slight edge to Judi Dench..she really added a lot more to the role... Bernard Lee, who I liked very much as M, just seemed to be stuck in a rutt playing M the same way in all his films..no variation to the character.

Non-Desmond Llewellen Q's...who did you think was best... Alec McCowan (Algernon, in NSNA), John Cleese (R / Q in TWINE and DAD) or now Ben Whishaw as Q in Skyfall?

Have to go for Ben Whishaw as Q in 'Skyfall' - the chemistry worked so well between Bond, it surprised me how likeable Q became, rather than playing for laughs as John Cleese did, mis-cast in that role in 'Die Another Day'

What do you think James Bond would win in over Christmas...

Snowball fight

Toboggan/sledge race

Toboggan race since he has the experience bobsleding in OHMSS.

Motorcycle stunts in Bond films...which was your favorite...Bond and Wai Lin leaping over the chopper and crashing through the roof of the building in TND, Bond chasing Patrice along the rooftops and through the bazaar in Istanbul in SF OR Bond chasing after the pilot-less plane in Goldeneye?

Bond chasing the plane in GE is one of my favourite pre title sequences.

Which GE character do you like the must; Izabella Scorupco as Natalya Simonova OR Famke Janssen as Xenia Onatopp ?

Terry Hatcher I thought was the better actor, so I'll go with her although Michelle Yeoh also had a great performance.

Which throwback did you enjoy most in QOS; the oiled covered girl (GF) OR Bond letting a henchman fall to his death after reaching for his tie (MR).

Hmm, both good little nods - but I love the scene with Sandor in 'The Spy Who Loved Me', so I go for the sly nod to that, letting him fall off the roof.

What emotion do you think Daniel Craig brings out best in James Bond:

Fragility - The sense of hurt and loss he has felt during his 3 films, and seeing how it makes him stumble and learn

OR

Coldness - A sense of calculating, cold killer instinct about him, a government assassin who knows how to kill

Fragility...losing Vesper in CR and losing M in SF..just brilliantly portrayed by Mr. Craig.

Right..since we've already had Robbie Coltrane and now Ralph Fiennes and Helen McCrory appear in Bond films, which fellow Harry Potter alumni would you like to see next appear....Alan Rickman OR Dame Maggie Smith ?

Alan Rickman for sure! He is a brilliant actor and I think he could definitely be an ally or an enemy to James Bond.

Toby Stephens as James Bond?
