On topic. I have no idea who should do them, I certainly would welcome the return of Daniel Kleinman, even though I didn't see what was so wrong with MK12's titles.
But please no titles like the ones in MI:4 where half the following film is spoiled.

I liked the titles for M:I-4, and didn't feel they spoiled the film. (Giacchino's score, on the other hand...)
Agreed. It was a great sequence, which I understand is a throwback to the original series.

Sure. I´d be up for that, no pun intended, why not use projections on naked women? Always loved thatThrowback....nothing wrong with that. As a matter of fact, if they are doing a "like Goldfinger" throwback to the 60's feel, let's do the same with the credits and the title song.

Also, why does it all have to be digitally lathered now? If they really want to tip their caps back to the classic 60s era why not work a little harder to make most of it analogue? It's not like analogiue technology hasn't also advanced, along with the help of being able to touch things up digitally. I just find it really lazy the way they absolutely cake the entire sequence in CGI - with the last film, for example, it just ended up looking cheap and messy with no simplistic, solid thread or idea.

However, I would very much love to see the return of Daniel Kleinman who had with CR done his best work to date.
In acknowledgement of the 50th anniversary (along with a gun barrel bathed in a golden hue) I'd like to see a title sequence that subtly includes a few visual throwbacks. Nothing too obvious, just elements that we'd recognise and no doubt come back on here to merrily discuss.

It's think he means relatively speaking, compared to opticals. There's also a magic that old school fx have that CGI can never quite capture. It's always a bit too clean, if you know what I mean.
Thematically, it looks like a copy of Daniel Kleinman's work from The World is Not Enough and Die Another Day.

I second that.I'd like to see someone channel the spirit of Robert Brownjohn. I always preferred his work (FRWL and GF) to Binder's.

I´d be up fot that. Literallyhow about they just bring back Eva Green and Olga Kurlenko and strip them down to nothing...stay with me....and have them be like the classic Bond girl bodies like they did in FRWL and GF. I couldn't think of a finer tribute....: )

Oh, weel, i'd like to see skies, girls and the silohuette of Bond... but I said SILOHUETTES, not bad vectorized CGIs

I´d like to see real women defying our visual perceptions, slowly swiveling borderline naked, with the text projected in their bodies. Ups, already done right? But never beaten.
Have to agree there. Let's home some real Bond women, not strange CGI shapes that resemble women. 'Quantum Of Solace' touched upon it, and nearly had it, but lost it.
I don't want anything TOO technologoical, not for the titles. Keep them simple, sexy and effective to set the tone!

Real women >> CGI women
Binder >> Kleinman/MK12

Well, considering that Binder has been dead for twenty years, he's not really an option ...Binder >> Kleinman/MK12
