How do you figure that? What I've always felt regarding what would become Craig's 3rd film is not whether it would be his GF or TSWLM or DAD, but whether it would be his crowning as the best Bond ever. Sean Connery is still regarded as the best by both fans & myself, but if Daniel Craig can hit it out of the park in Skyfall, he might become my favorite Bond. He's already 2nd & with a great performance in a great film can move up to 1st.
Craig has done 1 good Bond film and 1 mediocre one. Even if Skyfall is amazing it would still only be his 2nd good film.
Still a LONG way to go before he has earned the right to be compared with Connery.

I'm tired of Bond running copying Bourne. Because Bourne invented running in spy films. Also, Bourne invented underwater shots. Also fistfights. Bond is Bourned.

Well, QUANTUM OF SOLACE wasn't as good as DIE ANOTHER DAY, so...
That's right. QoS wasn't as "good" as DAD. It was actually about a million times better...
Die Another Day is far from the best Bond film, but it's certainly better than Quantum of Solace.
Die Another Day is pure, laid-back entertainment. Halle Berry's poorly-written character and the glaringly bad CGI ultimately hurt the film and I don't particularly like the ending, but the action scenes are exciting and the over-the-top sets and villains....all of it pure Bond.
Quantum of Solace isn't a bad movie, but almost nothing about it says "Bond" to me and it's a poor follow up to arguably the best Bond film made yet. The plot is clearly rushed and none of the characters stand out, everything is just very generic.
