About his beard, Jeffery declared in Treviso: "Last year, I was writing "Carte Blanche", the James Bond's book. Without beard, people mistook me for... Pierce Brosnan. It was embarassing... So I grew the beard..."

When he was in Oceania, Jeffery Deaver gave some informations about Carte Blanche and he also gave his point of view about the cinematic James Bond, saying that Guy Pearce would be a perfect choice to succeed to Daniel Craig because he looks like Ian Fleming's character. Does anybody know if he says someting during his Italy trip ?
