To mark the 40th anniversary and the release of THE PERSUADERS ! on Blu-ray, a special one-off event has been held in London on 10 September with Roger Moore in attendance. The original Aston Martin Bahama Yellow DBS as driven by Lord Brett Sinclair in the series was parked outside Kent House in Knightbridge. Two episodes of the series were screened. Lord Sinclair himself spoke fondly of working with Tony Curtis during a Q & A session with film critic Barry Norman.

Plenty of Roger action on the BBC too: he was on the One Show on Friday and Front Row this week, both are on iPlayer.

There were some good bits on the One Show:

Chris Evans to Moore: Your favourite Bond film other than one of your own?

Moore: Oh, were there any?!!!

Roger's nails need a trim in that last one :)

I think I might need this set; sounds amazing.

I wish the price of these would come down. I've been wanting the DVD set for years.
