I am watching this interview and the great thing about Larry is that he shows a lot of clips. The 30 second glimps of the Ice Ballet is so cool! I can't wait....

The car flips and there are tons of explosions! The music is a bit muffled so I couldn't hear it well.

Plus there is a new TV spot that focuses on Halle Berry.

Plus a scene in the Ice Palace durring the party. A remix of Madonna's DAD plays in the background....

Yeah I wasn't going to watch it because I didn't think they would show any new clips and then I decided "oh what the hell, I'll record it just in case" and I was VERY impressed. That Ice Ballet sequence was heart-pounding! Also, I noticed that too in the background of the ice palace with Madonna's song playing. It was like a classical version of the strings of the song playing kinda, wasn't it? I can't go re-watch the footage right now but plan to. Even though Larry's only helping to promote the film, you can tell he was really impressed with it too.

Just got done watching this as well. I didn't even know they were going to be on CNN. (Forgive me fellow Bond fans.) The interviews were good and the clips were amazing! Man I can't wait for this film to come out. The car chase looks fantastic in itself. I also like the repore between Bond and Jinx in the Ice Palace. Way to go Larry!

It was a great interview (especially with Halle) and he showed just enough new clips to really get me excited. Larry seemed to really have enjoyed it (especially "Evelyn"). Pierce was his usual charming self;) and Halle once again makes me proud with her beauty, poise, and intelligence.
Btw we all heard it from his lips once again that he will be doing Bond 21:D.....who knows maybe Halle will be back too;)

Yes, Solitaire Halle made me proud too. And Pierce, what more can I say. He's the man.

But man - the dialogue from DAD that they showed (shudder).

Ah well... if I don't like the movie, I still have 19 others to revel in.

Great interview.
For those of you who couldn't catch it, a transcript of the interview can be found here:
http://europe.cnn.co.../07/lkl.00.html
It's a rush transcript, might be updated.

I couldn't watch it myself, would have been 3 o'clock in the morning, does anyone know when the repeats are running on CNN Europe?

I thought the interview was really good and showed some neat footage. He asked both some difficult questions (Brosnan about his late wife and Berry about suicide). And i was impressed also by how they both responded honestly.

Daniel the conversation was in the Ice Palace and it goes like this:

(Madonna's remixed theme playing in background, Jinx's back to Bond)

BOND- Mohito (sp?)

JINX- (turns to face Bond, smiles)
James! Are you here for the penguins this time, or for the view again?

BOND-I'm only interested in endagered species.

JINX-Well, does that include me?

BOND-Depends on what your up to this time.

JINX-So i left you in an explosive situation! Your a big boy, thought that you could handle it yourself.

BOND-No wonder your relationships don't last.

JINX-I'm a girl wo doesn't like to be tied down

And that was it. BTW, Larry has definitly seen the movie, he couldn't stop talking about how he enjoyed it. ANd the car chase looks absolutly brilliant!

I thought that whole Bond/Jinx confrontation in the ice palace was played very well. What the heck he says at the begining is beyond me, but, maybe its some kind of other nickname she had in Cuba, so she knows its him when she turns around. It was good, either way and I don't thinkt he dialogue was poor at all.

The car chase will have you on the edge of your seat! Literally! It was so impressive! Like I said before, I've tried not to watch it too much, and hope I'll be able to hold out.

Kinda nice though, got to see nice long clips from 3 different scenes all in one night: Ice Ballet/chase, Ice palace banter between Bond and Jinx, laser fight sequence. I loved them all :)

The dialogue doesn't seem quite so bad in written form - I think my main problem was Halle Berry's delivery.

Mojito, it's the distinctly Cuban drink you see him with in the Cuba scenes and one he offers Jinx a taste of in one of the clips that I believe was shown on ET. Oh and I love the way Halle says "James" in that Ice Palace scene.

Thanks, this answers two questions:

a) I didn't know what it means when I read the transcript

:) when I saw the first pictures of the Cuba scene a while ago, I thought it might be a Mint Julep, like in Goldfinger. Somebody told me that it isn't, but I doubted it until now.

has anybody been able to put the interview online? -okay, not the transcipt, I just hate those-

and I also want to say 'hey' to everybody at CBn, I have been a member for a while but I think it is time for me to post instead of just reading the topics... so I guess I just start that by now
