As a distraction from watching amusingly underdressed Eastern European blondes play tennis, I turned over to what one must now apparently call ITV1 and caught the start of The Living Daylights.

Is it just me or is the daft hag banging on about tennis pros lying arounnd on a moving boat and then, when Mr Dalton lands, suddenly it's berthed?

It may be me as I might have had one or two Ribenas, it being a lovely afternoon 'n' all. This may not be much of a discussion admittedly.

Must have been the ship's AI automatically dropping anchor. Surprisingly little crew on a boat that size.

And later on in the film, when Bond says: "No, the steel-tipped." his lips don't move. Which either means he's an excellent ventriloquist, or they dubbed that line in the wrong place.

The Cai-Cai-Cairo effect back in action?

And in TLD trailer, the woman on the boat speaks in an entirely different voice than in the film! I guess they wanted her to be more 'exotic' than just having an American accent :
