Ah! Nice to see him driving a car from the novels. I guess this would be the first and only time we see him driving one.

Technically correct, but we see him answer the car phone in one in FRWL, then mourn its loss in Goldfinger.

That's right! I forgot about that!!! But I do remember the mourning his loss for it in the next film.

It's a 1937 Bentley 4 1/4 Litre, chassis no. B129JY, Gurney Nutting 3-Position-Drophead Coupé.

It also was featured in an episode of Magnum PI! Might be in Hong Kong now.

Sir James Bond drives a Bentley in the '67 Casino Royale spoof, as well.

That's probably the most Bondian part of the movie.

He also drove an Aston Martin in the novel "Goldfinger" but it was a DB3, not a DB5.

To be precise, it was a 'DB MkIII' which isn't a model they ever made! :) Fleming meant a DB2 MkIII, which was a pretty nice car.

Maybe he just made it up? But I mean, if that were the case why even call it an Aston Martin in his books.
