CNN Money has a story about designer Ralph Lauren's car collection, about to go on display in Paris.

"1929 Bentley Blower

This car, designed by W.O. Bentley himself, is equipped with a supercharger -- a "blower," in automotive parlance -- hence its nickname. In real life, this car was designed to win races but it also served as James Bond's car in early Ian Fleming novels."

Bond's car was most likely the 1930 model however.

Very nice find, thanks for sharing this. Incidentially, I think I remember Matchbox having had one of their "Models of Yesteryear" collectibles in exactly that configuration. Think it was called the "four litre and a half" or something, also with that Union Jack at the side. Collectors might be able to say for sure.
