Unfortunately, I'm not as flush as I was in 2008, so I don't know if I can afford to scoop up all these specials as I did with Devil May Care. Might need to pass on this.

Ahahahahahahaha! Did you really take me seriously? Psych! I just pre-ordered. I'm going to have the BEST Bond collection of all the homeless.Unfortunately, I'm not as flush as I was in 2008, so I don't know if I can afford to scoop up all these specials as I did with Devil May Care. 750 isn't as limited as the 500 DMC editions. Be intresting to see how the collectors market pans out. Jeffery's signature won't be scarce like Faulks.
You dont see the DMC with the Bentley inside that sold for £1500 on eBay anymore. Looks like they all went to collectors in the end.
Snap the Hatchards deal up before the booksellers start selling them for £200+.

I didn't know the DMC one was available at Hatchards, I was always under the impression it was purchased from Waterstones to the people who waited over night on launch day.
Your right, surprised to see CB hasn't sold out already also.

That was exactly my thinking. 3 years from now I'd look back and think, "Why didn't I buy it then?"
Can't wait for it to release.

Here's a rundown on all the Carte Blanche special editions planned:

What I have there is all I know. And what I have came from Bookpoint (the Hachette owned distribution company for Hodder in the UK). I did think that $19.99 price was too good to be true, but that's what they said. Let's see how things shake out in the weeks to come. I should have some more info next week.

Can you elaborate on what kind of different cover, the Indies edition is getting?
Also according to this site the price for the indie edition will be 124.99 and not 19.99 like you have listed in the book bond. Either this is profiteering on a gross scale or this indie edition of 1500 will be more expensive.

BTW, that site you linked to has all their prices grossly marked-up.

Yeah, I feel like that 124.99 price is probably a mark-up judging by the huge discrepancies in the other editions' prices...
