Just been watching the box set of Callan and i have to admit they do not make shows like this anymore. Edward Woodward plays him excellently.The ex Royal Marine & convict now working as a British assasin for six. I recommend it i really do

I've just seen the first two episodes from the second set, and already I'm hooked.

 

To think, this show ran for five series, and I've never heard of it until now!

 

I wonder whether Ian MacIntosh ever saw this show. His subsequent Sandbaggers series had definite similarities.

 

Now to hunt down the complete collection!
