I have always thought that Craig looks like a builder. I find him too common looking to be a successful interpretation of Bond. He lacks the suave element. Anyone agree?

Cant recall him sitting around drinking tea all day.

I am amazed you got that sig banner past the Mods. It's massive and it just a photo.

The screen name, too, seems to say, "Mods' Week Off."

What kind of a builder are we talking about here? Bob the Builder or Charles Atlas?

I certainly think Craig is more "ripped" than Fleming ever described him, but that's the new reality of being an action star in the 21st century. Probably Dalton was closest to Bond's build as described in the novels; athletic in a practical way but hardly massive and certainly not "showy." Judging by his shirtless scene in LTK, I think he'd have been the Bond most likely to have sand kicked in his face by Craig at the beach.

Well worth joining to post this. Still, welcome to Cbn, blah blah.

Do you have anything positive to contribute, as a - shocking concept though it may be - Bond fan? Y'know, do you find any joy in it, at all, somewhere? Tell us about that. All ears.

Yeah, but the next scene would be Craig buried up to his neck in the sand with the tide coming in.

We need some real news soon. That's the only way all of this will stop.

I guess some people hate taking so long to seach and find the original post of the subject. Since there tones of posts and it in there somewhere.

I said it before and I'll say it again, he looks like a male model, those for the Guess and Calvin Klein billboard and magazine ads. Well he looks to be build that way, the workout he does. But NOT a bodybuilder like those in Flex, Ironman and Muscle Mag, also how Aronld Schwarzenegger use to be.
