Some more, truly splendid offerings from the past.

Good to see you around again sir.

The CR Petite; was this perhaps not a tie in with a petrol station chain? Bondissez being the command to pounce; leap, bound; bounce - probably in a car.

I remember one such petrol station chain brandishing the 'Put a Tiger in your Tank' strp line. Was it Shell?

Nope. Esso/Exxon.

The tiger does look exactly like the one used to advertise the gas/petrol but I haven't found any evidence there was a tie-in.

I did however find a still of Ursula Andress from the film with a taxidermy tiger, so I'm thinking that may be the origin.

Esso! Ah, more than likely. Yes.

As for the taxidermed tabby, maybe. But not sure why they are saying to stick some 'tiger' in your car... I will have a look at my US CR Pressbook at the weekend and see what they have to say.

I look forward to what you find, Simon.
It's a pretty rare poster either way, and really nice in my opinion.

Best,
Adam

Great posters Adam! I'm still happy to have won one of your 007 The Man with the Golden Gun promotional posters in Paris two summers ago.
