I think Daniel's interpretation gives him a serious run for his money.
Yes, exactly why I mentioned him. He seems to wear his clothes pretty effortlessly, and comes close but not quite to some of the Connery aesthetics. He wears great ties too, and I actually own one that bears a enough of a resemblance to a Casino Royale one (a spotty, medium grey tie). I thought Pierce Brosnan was good in this regard too, but he tended to wear suits most often, and at times he was a bit overdressed, maybe. He was definitely a "best dressed person in the room" sort of guy as Bond.

Craig just looked phenomenal in the "teachers on sabbatical" scene in QoS and the last scene in CR. Pure Bond.

So for me, yes Connery is the most stylish Bond.

Excluding the pink tie, I agree. Moore was too trendy (although he wore the stuff well), Brosnan looked like he was on a runway, and though he may be a Tom Ford aficionado, Craig is casual more than Dalton, and not as stylishly.

Brozza looked great in a suit though, but some of his more casual looks weren't to my personal taste, but he has the build of a mannequin so it was hard for anything to look that bad on him. Personally fond of Laz's ability to pull off the tweed-ish jacket and brown brogues, though his frilly shirts definitely lock him in time, which is ultimately going to be Sir Rog's label. By being so consciously of the 70s (super-wide flares, flappy lapels etc, or should that be the other way around?), Sir Rog's Bond is immediately date-stamped.
I'll say this though, of the three Bonds that have worn the RN uniform, Sir Rog was easily the most convincing (SC looked tubbily uncomfortable, while Brozza should have had his hair hut before donning the cap).

Apart from TB, it was mostly suits for Connery's Bond...I think Connery had a balance between formal wear and casual. I mean in Brosnan and Moore we see only suits, tuxes, suits, tuxes. In Craig we see more casual outfits.
I agree that Connery was the most stylish Bond. I'm not a fan of what they are doing with Craig's Bond at the moment. To casual/ordinary for my taste.

Actually, though, for all the grief he gets, Roger's Bond dressed fairly conservatively. Take a look at TV from the time period and you'll see he was practically a model of restraint. Steve Austin, assorted TV cops, Jason King, you name it...they all had wider lapels, bell bottoms and ties than Roger's Bond, not to mention plaids and stripes and frills. It also helped that Roger kept his hair short and avoided some of the wilder looks of his era: "wings," perms, mutton chops, etc.
Certainly, Connery's Bond fashions look better over time than the others (DAF notwithstanding), but like the others he just wore what they gave him. Left to his own devices he seemed more the jeans and flip-flops sort.

Connery's more the rugged footballer type. That athletic grace that led somebody (can't remember who) to say he moved like a cat, combined with the stylish suits and such make for a more stylish hero all around. Same with Daniel Craig, not the expected type who pulls it off because it's not what's necessarily expected.

1. Brosnan
2. Connery
3. Moore
4. Craig
5. Dalton
6. Lazenby (what is with that shirt anyway?)

Here here. I prefer my Bond suited up, looking suave and debonair.Apart from TB, it was mostly suits for Connery's Bond...

Bond was made for this era and Sean is born for being OO7. With Terence Young in the middle, what a compound !Who else holds the opinion that the actor Sean Connery was simply the most stylish in his portrayal of James Bond? Compared to the rest, I just believe so. I know a lot of it may have to do with his era though, as the 1960s was quite a stylish decade, and many of the best elements were exemplified through Sean Connery's on-screen performance. In my opinion though, Daniel Craig and Pierce Brosnan come pretty close. Roger Moore, while still well-dressed, is more dated, as seems to be the case with Timothy Dalton and George Lazenby, although they still looked good in their portrayals. From the suits and occasional trilby (fedora), to the more casual garments such as the polo shirt or short-sleeved button up, Sean Connery's Bond was very classy, and his style for the most part is relatively timeless, apart from some distinctively 1960s features, such as the narrower ties and lapels that go with the suits and sport coats.

Worst dressed- tie between Sir Rog, and Laz.

Roger was stylish, too. It's just that in his case, the styles didn't stand the test of time.
Most of Roger Moore's Bond costumes were rather conservative in style. Which, in my opinion, stood the test of time. Why do a lot of Bond fans seemed to harbor this view that Moore wore a lot of the more outlandish styles of the 1970s? And they also seemed to act as if he wore the same kind of costumes in the early-to-mid 1980s?
As for who was the worst best dressed Bond . . . I don't know of any. All of the Bonds were decent dressers. But I believe that Moore, Lazenby and Brosnan were the most stylish.

I have no problem with Moore's clothes and overall I think they did a fine job during his era. However, they were clearly struggling with DAF, LALD & TMWTGG when it comes to the style. With TSWLM they brought back a more timeless look again.Roger was stylish, too. It's just that in his case, the styles didn't stand the test of time.

However, I adore Roger Moore's style also. The semi flared trouser. Just as effective.

In which movie did Moore wear a banana jumpsuit? And I'm not that fond of the blue . . . "swimwear" that Connery wore in GOLDFINGER.
I keep forgetting that Bond fans tend to overrate everything about Connery and his tenure as Bond, in compare to the other Bond actors.

HEY! I plan to have a custom made light blue terry pajama coat
BTW, The banana jumpsuit was the ski suit from TSWLM pts.
