Has anyone seen else this? It's actually pretty funny. It basically a crime show, with a comedic slant.

Vexed follows 'bright and sexy' detectives Jack and Kate, who share real chemistry, but have complicated personal lives.

The BBC says: "They may be cops, but Jack and Kate suffer the same frustrations, pre-occupations and insecurities as the rest of us. Always on the move or in their unofficial office - the local cafe opposite the police station where the coffee and gossip are better - their cases say something about modern life in an entertaining way."

Glad to see I'm not the only one watching it - it is pretty good, both funny and a damn good detective show to boot with a fine showing by Toby Stephens who looks damn sexy in this but whom I thought was rather the opposite in Die Another Day. I'm not convinced about Lucy Punch as Kate yet, however.

And don't forget it has Rory Kinnear as Kate's husband too, for an extra dash of Bond.

Do you know something, I've actually really warmed to Toby Stephens lately. I actually think that he would make a decent Doctor. I could imagine him as a Time Lord.

Once again I think we're all on the same wave length (cept I don't actually love Toby)
But the show was really funny; with some laugh out loud moments.
Hope this weeks' matches the pilot

Y'know, if this makes it to a, presumably longer, second season (say, six or eight episodes) then I could see Auntie churning out a book or two with fun pulp-fictiony covers. This would be easier than the somewhat lacklustre Being Human novels and the often childish NuWho ones, given there doesn't seem to be a season arc.

Toby Stephens looks like he would make a better Tanner than Rory Kinnear.

If you have heard the BBC Radio 4 adaptations of Dr No and Goldfinger, you may think that Toby Stephens makes a pretty good James Bond. I thought so, anyway.

I watched 'Vexed' last week and really enjoyed it, Toby Stephens and Lucy Punch are wonderful in this. I wish there was more episodes rather than just 3, although its unlikely to get recommissioned given how some of the newspaper critics hated it.

Just watched Episode 2 of 3 tonight. Highly entertaining, albeit not as funny as last weeks. Still some great laughs though!

I missed it. I bloody well missed it. Well, I didn't really, but Dont Stop The Music was recording and it was on until quarter past nine so I missed it recording the first ten minutes so have to wait for it to be on next Saturday or to download it on iPlayer.

A satisfying end to a satisfying series. Such a shame a second series seems doubtful. I loved it!

As would I. I wonder what the viewing figures were like. The critics hated it, but if it performed well, then who knows. I'd love a second season as well.

Oh, and Toby Stephens is FANTASTIC, as well. Anyone reckon he should get another shot as a Bond villain? He's a great actor.

Either Toby Stephens has put on some poundage or he's wearing a very bad, Luke Skywalker-esque wig..LOL!! Took me a minute to actually recognize him..
