Were it that it were a Younger fan's impression, then perhaps forgiveness could be apportioned all round.
Fact is though, it looks as though the guy is in his 40's; at least his bio on the 007 mag website says 'he feels the Brosnan films are not yet living up to their potential', or some such, as though this were still a comment on the present. The last Brosnan being in 2002 and Cassidy's age being, then, 35, he is probably as vintage as you or I.
Anyway, I am sure this is appearing to come across as a jeremiad against just the one article. I am looking forward to the next magazine, I do hope some of this is being read though...

I still don't think it's wrong to have somewhat higher expectations from the leading Bond fanzine considering the standards they've set with past issues and the cost of the publication.
If I want to read something praising a film without really adding anything new while being sprinkled with mistakes I can go here or a number of other sites. Or I can pay for one of the DK books.
Still, I am glad to see the print copies of 007 out there and coming out at the rate they are along with the archive issues. It makes it still being fun to be a Bond fan even when there is no new film to look forward to.

Got my issue. (That was fast.) Great photos. Intrigued by the pic of Connery with his Thundeball hair(piece) yet in Goldfigner white tux. Also nice shot of Connery in suit posing Bond-style with PPK that I've never seen.
