There is probably already a thread about this comic book but I couldn't find it. I found a copy of this at San Diego Comic-Con yesterday and purchased it for $100. Have you heard of this before? If so, do you own a copy? Just wanted to get a discussion going regarding this beautiful (and rare) comic book. I believe it was the only James Bond-related comic book to ever be released by DC.

Want one? Here's a current eBay listing.

Great find. I am aware of the publication, but have never seen it.

Yes, I have one. You are correct, that is the only DC published 007 comic book (that I know of anyway). Did you notice that the three "blind" men happen to be white in this comic book?

I didn't notice that! I don't plan on reading my copy (it's too fragile) but I may read the online version someday.

I have heard about it back when I was in high school. I heard about it from a store I use to go to that sell only trading cards. They sell a lot of sports and nonsport cards, not all comic book stores would order in. At that store when it was still around, that had nonsport cards like ALF, Dick Tracy, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, T2, all the different Star Trek, all the different James Bond that cam out, A-Team and other ones. They even had old nonsport cards that you can get but not in packs anymore. The one that are not real old but only 2-5 years old they sell it cheapper if they have too much boxes of them. Well each pack not the whole box set. But the store closed up like in the mid 90s or the late 90s.

What condition is yours in, Righty?
$100 was a good buy if it is in mint condition!

Off the top of my head, it's either a 6.0 or 6.5, which is "fine" condition. It's not mint but it looks great. :)

For the benefit of anyone who hasn't read this book, scans of the whole thing are available here:

Showcase Dr No Adaptation

The site design will make your eyes bleed, but the scans are worthwhile.

It was also released as a CLASSICS ILLUSTRATED comic in the UK, and in several other countries, as well.
