Sorry for making a new thread about this but I nearly just had a heart attack when Jon Favreau announced his name. Somebody asked him about Bond and he said he wants to get going on it as soon as possible. They showed a long clip of Cowboys and Aliens and it was ing awesome. DC is one badass cowboy!

No, it wasn't that type of event. Craig stayed on stage the whole time and I was far away. I had to watch him via a big screen BUT I was in the same room!

The actual panel seemed kind of lame though. (Apart from the footage, which amazingly doesn't seemed to have appeared on the web anywhere...yet?) It looks like Ford and Craig answered one question each, Favreau said thanks for coming, and then that was it!

My memory is a little foggy but here's what I remember: It starts off showing Daniel Craig's badass-looking cowboy walking into a house. He walks over to a basin and washes his face à la Casino Royale and a few seconds later, a man appears with a gun aimed toward his back. Craig is arrested and put into jail. The next scene shows Craig sleeping in a jail cell as his neighbor in the next cell keeps shooting spit balls at him. Craig wakes up, walks over to the guy, reaches for his shirt between the bars and yanks the man into the bars, knocking him unconscious. This is probably the second most badass thing Craig did in the trailer and got a lot of laughs from the audience. Craig is then moved from the cell into a transport buggy. Harrison Ford's character comes riding in on a horse and starts yelling at his son (I forget the dialogue) and starts talking about Craig's character in a negative light. I think Craig has been unfairly arrested and/or framed by Harrison Ford's son. I can't quite recall. Next, a UFO lands and starts exploding things, killing a lot of people. Craig is freed from the transport buggy and walks over toward the UFO, raises his arm (which has had this futuristic looking thing around his wrist the entire time) and shoots a photon at the UFO. Then it cuts to the Aliens and Cowboys logo.

The clip I saw was made specifically to show Comic-Con attendees and therefore may not be seen until the movie is released. Some parts from the scene may be in trailers, though. I recall Jon Favreau saying that they've only been filming for four weeks.

I was reading through your description and I wasn't quite sure if it was exclusive clips, or a trailer. Glad that's sorted out then. If they've only been filming for 4 weeks, I won't hold my breath for a trailer any time soon.
