I just had a radical idea. I haven't thought about it too much, but hear me out on this. Eon only goes for English directors--no Americans allowed--and they do want to shake things up. Tamahori wanted to spice up the sex scenes for Bond, and may or may not have gotten his way. Well, how about getting Adrian Lynne to do Bond 21? He could make it exotic, erotic, and let some really good 2nd unit guy do the action stuff. Like I said, this thought just came to me, so don't be too harsh. It's just an idea in line with the let's keep it interesting and stir the formula a bit.

Lyne might be a good choice. The guy's certainly got talent (FATAL ATTRACTION, LOLITA) if not always a good press.
