Found this on youtube and haven't seen it before. Lots of former Bond stars in attendance. John-Rhys Davies, Richard Kiel, Lynn-Holly Johnson, Herve Villechaize, Patrick Macnee, Martine Beswick, Barbara Bach, Maud Adams, Lois Chiles.
Licence to Kill stars in attendance: Timothy Dalton, Anthony Zerbe, Talisa Soto, Wayne Newton, Carrie Lowell, David Hedison, Frank McRae, Robert Davi and Cubby.
Not really much but Cubby gets a nice tribute and Dalton makes a great speech.
Any CBners attend this?

Nice! You can really tell Dalton cared about what he was doing.

I think so too. Even in todays interviews with him he still cares and understands what an honour it is to have played Bond. Pure class with that man.

Fantastic!
This, I believe, was a special Cubby tribute charity screening which is why there are SO many big stars there in tuxes, etc. (Not many people wear tuxes to LA premieres, even back then.)
Not sure what theater this is in (DGA maybe?). I believe I have a program from this. Suppose I can check that.
Appreciate the zoom in on Ms Lowell's cleavage, btw.

Yep, DGA Theater followed by a black-tie dinner at the Bel Age Hotel.
What I have is an invitation. Check out the terrific cover.

Oh very cool. You could see the love for Cubby even from other Hollywood actors.
Yes I was waiting for the first post on the zoom in on Lowell!
Too funny the invitation! Thanks Zencat.

Excellent stuff, and what a VOICE from Tim!
Good find Jeff- nice to "go back" to a time when Bond was a big deal here in LA!

Back in the day when it was possible to employ both a brilliant actor AND at the same time someone who had at least a passing physical resemblance to the character Ian Fleming created.
Where did it all go wrong?
