I've spotted a couple of references to the cinematic world of Bond in the continuation novels and wondered what other ones there are I've missed/forgotten.

I'm not talking about the films influencing the novels (female M in Benson, more gadgets etc etc) but where cheeky/sly nods to the movies have been made.

My first two are:

Death is Forever: Bond says Connery is one of his favourite actors

Never Send Flowers (I think): a character is described as looking a bit like Carly Simon (who of course sang Nobody Does it Better.

Any others you can find??

In Scorpio Bond watches The Untouchable on the plane flying to North Carolina and remarks that Sean is his favorite actor.

He doesn't mention him by name but something to the effect of "A favorite actor of Bond's played a tough Irish cop."

I think in one of the Benson novels that Bond notices a movie theater somewhere where to newest "spy movie" of a long running series is playing.

I make a reference to Connery in my own Fan-Fic at one point. Bryce is watching "Outland". ;)
