Once again, we read it here first on CBn!
And as we continue to remember Ian Fleming's birthday here, the timing of this announcement strikes me as most appropriate.
So-- pass the word along. Coordinate your plans here.

I'd love to take a stab at 007 Jeopardy.

Update--
Online registration just opened on the Museum website for this event.
There are some different options listed to accomodate folks' needs, for either day, or for both (package price).
If you're coming in from out of town, the Museum has negotiated a special rate with a bed & breakfast I can personally recommend (having stayed there throughout the week leading up to the Bond Watches exhibit opening). That'll probably fill up fast. Additional alternatives are listed below as well.
It seems like get-together pages are cropping up everywhere: Watch Forums, Facebook, messages I've been getting, CBn, et cetera. So I guess we can all report back to the editors at Entertainment Weekly that James Bond is ever bit alive and doing just fine!

Thought I should check-in here briefly for those of you counting down the days to the "Bond Enthusiasts Weekend," which starts this Friday.
Here are some updates that have come along since my last post on this.
More generally, I just got a report on June, July, and August visitor numbers from the Museum. In each month, they're seeing a significant increase in folks coming in, with direct ties to the James Bond Watches exhibit. Feedback is overwhelmingly positive. So it's really gratifying to know that we've put something worthwhile together here.
Here are some updates that have come along since my last post on this.
- Preview of James Bond Jeopardy game (for those of you feeling competitive, looking to show off your knowledge of this vital trivia area)
- Reminder that this weekend will be another of the few instances where we'll be displaying the original James Bond watch (Ian Fleming's Rolex 1016 Explorer) wound, set, and ticking
- This Friday, we're adding an example of the last watch needed to complete a first-ever display of all Bond watch models supplied by Seiko UK (again, with documentation that finally, definitively identifies them)
- A video overview from our exhibit concept, layout was posted yesterday to YouTube
