Whilst I have in my collection an early copy of Fleming's Thrilling Cities, it is the UK edition (I live in the UK) and it does not contain the only Bond story by Fleming that I have never read. The US version of the book contains the story entitled '007 in New York.'

Does anyone have a copy of this short story?

Many thanks.

I have the US edition of Thrilling Cities with “007 in New York” and recently completed reading it. I picked my copy up from eBay for a song plus shipping. Most people seem to be disappointed by “007 in New York” but I found it a fun, albiet small scaled look at a piece of Bond's life.

007 In New York is now in the new edition of Octopussy & Living Daylights. Hardly an exciting story but the scrambled egg recipe sounds ok!

Is that the new editions recently published in the UK?

yes, the Uk ed contains it - I found out by chance then bought it purely for this story, as I had an earlier version aswell with the usual 3 stories

Thanks - that has solved that, phew! I thought I would have to buy an old copy of Thrilling Cities by mail from the US!

Proved the value of joining here already, that and reading Mightier Than The Sword!

Later.

It was also in the Sunday Times supplement which promoted TWINE (and had a very cool illustration).
