Zencat,
I might be going to the first U.S. stop in Minnesota - I'm wondering if you know whether the book signings require you to purchase a book there to sign or if I can bring one of my own? I have one of those first edition "SilverFins" that has that error (can't remember what it was) that I would love to have him sign. Looked on the bookstore's website but it didn't mention anything about it...

You might call the store and ask, Arbogast777, because every store is different. Usually it is no problem to bring your own book. But there are some cases where the store requires a purchase to get in line. But in all my bookstore signing experience, I think I've only encountered this twice.
Usually I always purchase the book being promoted to support the author/store/signing. If I have a book from home that I really want signed, I'll bring it as well. I try not to do more than two books. These guys who bring in a whole shopping bag of books...little tacky, I think.

On Charlie's Twitter page he just posted "Final schedule thru for US leg of book tour: L.A., Minneapolis, St. Louis, New York, Chicago, Philadelphia, Washington all in 1 week. Gulp." Was an L.A. stop added???

He's just coming through LA, but no public signings. I'm planning on getting together with him on Sat.
But Philadelphia looks new? I'll check on that.

Enough of this world tour stuff.
Is there any chance of Chas coming to the North of ENGLAND? I don't think he's ever been north of Brum.
I mean, I'm not the world's biggest Charlie fan (I leave that honour to Zencat) but it would be nice to say, "Hi, Charlie. Great to meet you. Really well done with Young Bond."
And, of course:
"'Ere, sign this".
Your Great British (Northern) Public awaits you.
