Forgive me if this poll has been done before but I've never seen one like it. It's pretty self-explanatory, which author did it better?
Ian Fleming's Blofeld Trilogy
John Gardner's SPECTRE Trilogy
Raymond Benson's Union Trilogy

Fun idea for a poll.

While I'm a big fan of all three trilogies listed here, Fleming's Blofeld set takes first place for me. Still, I recommend all of these "sets" of Bond novels to literary 007 fans.

I chose the Union trilogy primarily because of the first book in the trilogy, High time to kill. IMHO, the head of the union was alot more evil than Blofeld ever was.

Ian's Blofeld trilogy of course.

There isn't even a comparison.

I've just voted for the Fleming trilogy. Best of the three, I think.

Incidentally, doesn't the Benson trilogy include that unfinished business in "The Man With The Red Tattoo"? The villain from that novel featured, briefly, in "Never Dream Of Dying" as well. Does that make the Benson "trilogy" a "quadrilogy"? (or whatever you call a collection of four?) B)

I vote the Blofeld Trilogy... with the minor addition of The Spy Who Loved Me; that book doesn't get enough love. B)

I mean, were you really being serious with this thread, Righty007?

I'm with Qwerty on this. All three trilogies are good, solid entertainment with nice cohesive structures. One could easily argue that each trilogy is the high point of all three writers' Bond careers. I might not be willing to go quite that far, but each one is definitely worth reading. B)

It's a tough choice for me, but I guess I'll go with Ian Fleming's Blofeld trilogy.

Fleming's, naturally.
There are other solid triple-threats. My favorite consecutive three-in-a-rows are CR, LALD & MR; OHMSS, YOLT & TMWTGG and Scorpius, WLoD & Brokenclaw
