This has to be THE coolest James Bond toy ever made!!!

...and at the low, low price of only 519.25 pounds! (or $787.55 US)

Even though it's ridiculously expensive, I still think I might try to find a way to get this imported to the US. B)

Yeah. I've been obsessing about this since I saw the post..and I Colombo actually Live in Colombo! (Sri Lanka) so getting my hands on one of these babies (or the sum of its parts over 75 weeks)seems even more unlikely B)

But then again I've managed to complete my Sideshow collection from way down here...so hope springs eternal!

How many more James Bond magazines do we need? I've heard the Car Collection is up to issue 87. I'm glad I stopped subscribing pretty early on.

Well if I could pick one up without having to wait 75 painstaking weeks I would and wouldn't care less about the magazines. But it would probably be more ridiculously expensive than it collectively is already.

They would be better off just releasing the car in one piece for 1/2 the price and making it available worldwide.

What a beautiful model!
Very cool!

Why does this type of products cost so much money?
I don`t no or the collection will come to the Netherlands? That will depend, however, on the success in Great Brittain. Same with de James Bond Car Collection.

That is an impressive model. Shame they are only making it available in the UK. Although, for almost $800 US, I'd expect this thing to already come assembled. B)

Looks lovely in the photos, but it's just way to much. I could hire a real one for 30 minutes for that price.

What I would like to know is the the B) is wrong with the good ole U.S of A?
This will make two car magazine subscriptions that the US gets passed over. I know I would have subscribed to the other one to get all those cars from every film and this I would seriously consider since I am in a better position now to afford it but dont these companies know there are James Bond Fans in the country with 50 states?
I dont get it and I would love it if one of you good people could explain it to me because I am missing something?
Maybe they think that if there is a problem with parts that it would cost them too much for replacements etc?
I guess I will have to be content to own my AutoArt (no gadget) and Danbury Mint models.

I don't know why these partworks aren't available in the US but I do know that, if you frequent a comic store, you can have them special order it for you via Diamond as you can do the same with those DC & Marvel partworks with the lead statues that are only available in the UK.

Don' take it personally. They've probably already licensed the rights to create and market DB5 models in the US to another company -- AutoArt or Danbury Mint -- and can't release this in the U.S. until that license is up.

heheheheh I love these magazines cathc the "have to have" bond collectors, i could probably buy a danbury mint one cheaper, and i wouldnt have to charge myself the labour, very nice idea though, but the bond car collection is already making me skint

After just 6 magazines this model has now being suspended and subscribers offered their money back if they send back the magazines, No subscription gifts were sent out and the web site was never updated.
So now we have assorted pieces which make nothing and were not really all that good anyway. There is no indication of if or when publication will resume.

This DB 5 weekly has just come to South Africa, this week...... luckily they warn how much the eventual complete model will cost ( R 8425.00 , roughly $ 1261.00 US at current rate of exchange !!!!!!!!!) I can think of better ways to spend the money, model looks huge though judging by the leaflets with the magazine, my only gripe is that the tires and wire wheels make the model look wrong, it just doesnt look right and somehow doesnt suit the car
