My machine locks up after about 10 seconds of action. I shoot one guy, then the sound loops and the screen freezes.........and then nothing
I am running a 1GHZ PIII with 256MB Ram and 20GB HD
Oh and I have directx 8.1
Any ideas??

What video card are you using? Have you tried lowering your graphics settings?

I have an ATI Rage Pro
I am running it on the lowest settings
It seems to work okay until I get close up to an enemy with lots of fire going on - then it stalls
