While his role in the film is quite minor I have seen him described as an "corrupt MI6" agent. I don't understand where that is coming from. I have not seen LTK in awhile, but I thought he was simply under the orders of London to bring Bond back.

I have never seen him referred to as "corrupt".
You are correct, he was following orders to bring Bond in.

The source is wikipedia, which of course can be unreliable.

Can any one agent take the task of bringing Bond in seriously? The man eluded 3 agents and a sniper at the Hemingway House, defying M directly. Did they really think somebody else could do it?
If Fallon was the one who hired the ninjas, then well done. Minus points for their timing, doing so after the commotion Bond causes at Sanchez' office, especially if they knew where he was staying.
Fallon does give a creepy sort of impression, kind of a sadistic type using underhanded methods rather than straight-ahead ones to do something. He's an interesting character for the few moments he's around.

I rather like the character. Great little performance by Christopher Neame, he deserved a credit during Binder's titles. You are right he does look somewhat creepy, but he did star in Dracula A.D. 1972 for a reason.

I'd say he's one of the most sinister and threatening characters in License To Kill. The shot of him raising and squirting the syringe always gives me the chills.

I agree that he's an interesting character, and the scene he's in is one of the best in the film.

It just goes to show how 'small' this character is in the context of the movie that I had to click into the thread before finding out who Fallon actually is. It was a nice little part though very well played.

I think it's in the sneer. At least, I think I remember Fallon sneering. I haven't seen LTK in quite some timeAnyone else see the similarity Between Fallon and Dryden from Casino Royale
