Many Happy Returns to an actor who delivered a Bond that will remain brave, inspiring and refreshing to watch.
Pity some of the world then wasn't ready for a large dose of the pure Fleming.

Bravo Tim. B)

You could make the case that Dalton had the biggest impact on the role post Connery considering how Brosnan and Craig have both delivered deadly serious characterizations.

Happy Birthday Mr Bond # 4.

Thank you Mister Dalton for the many fantastic character portrayals you have created over the years and especially for your particular portrayal of Ian Fleming's creation, which motivated me to read all of the Ian Fleming Bond books, in order for the first time all those years ago.

Many Happy Returns Mr Dalton!

The first Bond I ever saw in 'Licence To Kill' set the benchmark for pure 007 standards, and was missed from more adventures.

See you on the big screen again soon hopefully!

Interesting that the film reference books that I have list both Dalton and Brosnan as being two years older than their official bios - this from books published before either man was cast as Bond.

Timothy Dalton is one of my true acting heroes. Not only great as Bond but excellent in Hawks, The Rocketeer, Wuthering Heights, Jane Eyre....and everything he appears in. He was still looking very Bond like attired in the black tux in Timeshare a full decade after LTK. I would have loved to have seen a string of Dalton Bond films in the 90s. Happy 64th!!!!!

Please allow me to add my (belated) greetings to Mr. Dalton. Happy Birthday, sir. Many happy returns.

Timothy Dalton's Doctor Who episodes aired over here recently, and I must say, he has aged well, our ol' Tim. I think he could still realistically play Bond, the way he looks. Reminds me of Spielberg's thoughts over whether Harrison Ford would be too old to play Indiana Jones "He wasn't too old at 55. And he sure ain't too old at 65!" Well, in my opinion, the same logic applies for Dalton as Bond.

But in lieu of that, let's just hope Tim appears in more good parts and movies!
