Pierce Brosnan and crew of 'Salvation Boulevard' scout film locations in Detroit

Get ready for another summer full of celebrity sightings in Detroit.

According to WDIV, Pierce Brosnan could be one of the stars filming on location in the Motor City this year.

A location manager was in Detroit last week scouting locations for the film "Salvation Boulevard," which reportedly has the "James Bond" actor on board in a leading role.

If the rumors are true, filming will begin in May.

The film is an indie thriller that takes place in the world of mega churches. Plot details have yet to be released.

The University of Detroit Mercy campus is one possible filming location in Detroit. Check back for more details as the production develops.

"Salvation Army" is not yet on the Michigan Film Office's list of films that are filming in Michigan in 2010.

So far, the only movie that is officially filming in Detroit this year is "Real Steel," the sci-fi flick starring Hugh Jackman.

The Detroit-set HBO series "Hung" is also on tap to film its second season this year.

Pierce Brosnan's 'Salvation Boulevard' wraps filming in Detroit

Salvation Boulevard" is saying good-bye to metro Detroit.

The comedic thriller starring Pierce Brosnan of James Bond fame wrapped filming Thursday. It's expected to hit theaters next year.

The entire movie was filmed here, producer Cathy Schulman says. Scenes were shot in Milford, Livonia, Novi, Wixom, Brighton, Dearborn, Plymouth, Ann Arbor, Trenton and Grosse Pointe.

"And surprisingly to me, we were able to find every location we desired within an hour-and-a-half radius," says Schulman, who's also president of Mandalay Pictures.

The film's cast -- Greg Kinnear, Ed Harris, Jennifer Connelly and Marisa Tomei -- gave local residents a chance for impressive star sightings.

"I think people have been excited and surprised wherever we've been, particularly to run into actors of this caliber, and often to see 007 walking out of a building or restaurant," says Schulman...
