Brilliant book. It was after I read the reviews of BF from members of this site that I decided to read this series, having previously hated the idea of young Bond. The reviews of SF were good but not enough to convince me and I still feared that this series would piss all over the character in order to make some quick Harry Potter influenced dosh. Having read the reviews for BF I then read SF and it was good, but then I read BF and it was simply in another league and was awesome. The best non-Fleming novel. Even without the killing and the other thing he's particularly good at this just oozed Bond from every page. Locations,characters,plot were all perfect.
