QOS 3-disc Edition. Myth or Fact?

once again disturbing you from my far away country to hear if you can update me with some curiosity about the Bond world.
I've heard there's a 3-disc QOS DVD Edition coming out in 2010 with, among other things, the, many times referred, scene they filmed for a different ending and then director Marc Foster cut it out because it would probably force to a 3rd movie having the LEChiffre-QuantumOrganisation-Mr.White plot as background. I'M HUNGRY FOR THIS SCENE WITH 007 AND MR.WHITE!!
Plus the videogame presents us on the final part a scene with White and the aide of the prime-minister, whose bodyguard Bond let loose on the top of the Viena Opera House roof.
Can someone tell the truth in this supposed release?
Thanks, and once more...sorry for some bad English there may be.

I'd bet it will be timed to coincide with the release of Bond 23.
Exactly.

I would think they may want to wait 'til a little closer to the theatrical release to really capitalize on the drummed up publicity and anticipation.

That said, I just can't see a 3-disc QoS or anything else coming out right now. It's that pattern where it's been out almost a year and now in its lowered in price stage. They need to sell as many of the current product before bringing the new one in.
That said, I will be somewhat surprised if we see it this year, particularly with no real anniversary, new film, novel or practically anything else to tie it into.
On a side note, is it just me and where I live or does the first version of CR on DVD and Blu-ray seem to be more readily available in stores than the expanded editions?

Agreed, Turn. Although I do occasionally spot the collector's edition, the original release seems to pop up much more often.

I rarely ever see the CR Collector's Edition in the stores. Best Buy recently had a sale on the regular Blu-ray version but that's about it.

Quick question to any UK members here who have the Collector's Edition of CR on Blu Ray, but I read somewhere that the torture sequence is slightly more rougher than in previous releases. Is this true?

I never spot the collector's edition in stores. (I also don't have a Borders nearby.)

Well, I haven't seen the deluxe edition in stores. Just the CR collector's which I own.
