I'll be in Chicago for a friend's movie premiere (writer/director... CBn member: MovieMaestro). If anyone from CBn would like to attend and meet up to say "Hi" public tickets just went on sale today. Not sure how fast they will go, but they're only $7 if you'd like to snag one and come on down.

Dress warmly when you're up there, it's very cold now! Chicago's up near my native neck of the woods, and I've had too much experience with cold winter weather that I would just as soon forget about.

Aw, c'mon now. Aren't there January mornings when you miss the gentle zephyrs that waft in off Lake Michigan? It's the sort of thing we hardy Midwestern folk thrive on, an experience that "adds a sparkle to the day," don't you think?

I got enough of that growing up on the shoreline of the Mississippi River, in the vicinity of The Quad-Cities.

OMG it was FREEEEEZING!!! I'm so use to the weather in LA and they were telling me it was "warm" for this time of year. *shakes head*
