Apologies if this has already been asked and answered, but if memory serves right, the BBC were said to be doing a follow-up to their version of Doctor No (wasn't it Live and Let Die they were going to do). It's been ages since there's been any news about this and I can't see ANYTHING about it.
Did I imagine this project, or did it get put on the sidelines?

Goldfinger was announced back in October for a 2010 broadcast; radio dramas are normally commissioned and produced well in advance - so I'd imagine it's still happening.

Cool. Yeah, I know it might have been a long time for it to get on air but that I'd heard nothing and it didnt' seem mentioned anywhere I could find.
Hopefully it's not been abandoned cos of the recession.

IFP has issued a press release today (Zencat has posted the link below) indicating that this will be broadcast on BBC Radio Four on April 3, with a cast including Ian McKellen, John Standing, Tim Piggot-Smith, Ian Ogilvy, and (as Pussy Galore) Rosamund Pike. There's also an actor (John David Yu) cast as Oddjob, though since Fleming gives him such memorable lines as "Garch a har?" it'll be interesting to see how this role is performed in a radio play.

Rather kick casting there, to be honest.
