This is my first post on this site.
This is an episode from the 80's revival of the show Alfred Hitchcock Presents and it stars George Lazenby as James...
Its very 80's, goofy at times, and over the top but Lazenby is worth the watch. Plus there's tons of James Bond in jokes

and as a bonus George's brief part in the spoof film Kentucky Fried Movie

Still, better than "Never Say Never Again"
I'll take NSNA anyday over this. At least NSNA has Barbera Carerra.

Yes, even sillier than Moonraker itself.
Still, nice to finally see this. I quite enjoyed it personally. What was the deal with the Hitchcock footage for these post-mortem episodes anyway? Did they just take the most relevant-to-the-story footage they could find from classic episodes and colorise them (not all that relevant in this case), or were they lost footage from unmade stories or something?

Don't be silly.

yes.
And I will take ANY Bond movie over watching this again. Laz made several Bond like TV appearances in the 80s that were much better than this. I wonder if The Return of the Man from UNCLE, or the episodes of The Master or Cover up he did are out there on Youtube?

How about "Moonraker"?
LOL. you must be kidding there. Every Bondmovie is at least 10 times better than this.
It's nice to see Lazenby there though.

I'm not. At least "Diamonds Aren't Forever" is shorter =)
George really seems to be having fun with in this role which makes him the only positive thing about it.
As anyone seen Who Saw Her Die?

Sorry guys, I'm just not seeing it.Hello

If anything, to me it proves just how much of the James Bond portrayal in On Her Majesty's Secret Service was not due to Mr. Lazenby's efforts, contribution.
In that regard, it's nice to have these references. Thanks for posting them. And welcome to CBn.

So you basing on Lazenby on this horribly written television episode?

Take the plot and other characters out of it; even the dialogue.
Now watch how Mr. Lazenby handles that with which he does have to work. Movements. Looks. Reactions. Opportunities to be Bond (which, after all, is what is claimed here).
As a number of references have been made in this Thread to other less-than-perfect James Bond features films, I'd compare your link to those, apples-to-apples. Look at great performances that shine through poor scripts, supporting casts, direction, et cetera.
