Oh, this is good. Lot of imagination on show, which is splendid to see, and some care being taken over the writing. Yumster.
Glad you like it, Jim, especially coming from one of the great alumni of FanFic.
You've just jogged my memory about reading Just Another Kill; I only finished two chapters and then got sidetracked.

One Year in the Life of James Bond OO7
The final episode "The Epilogue" was uploaded today.
Many thanks to Qwerty for updating the additions so speedily.
I am very proud of The Blink of an Eye, which I believe is a more reflective FanFic than some.
In the five stories, James Bond is confronted with unusual situations and the decisions he makes effect those around him, and not always for the better.
I tried to develop my character of Bond through these five stories as he appraises his life and the actions he takes.
There is, I feel, an underlying melancholy to the opus, which fits neatly into the austere times we are experiencing, where extravagance is being perceived as shallow and undignified, law and order is subject to inquisition, secrets are revealed to be damaging to the public interest and the populace wants value from its institutions.
Bond doesn't necessarily agree with these view points, but he is subject to them. While Bond doesn't bang the political drum, in my interpretation, he is certainly willing to review his life and the times he lives in. The influence he has on other people becomes central to the decisions he makes.
My James Bond feels very real in The Blink of an Eye, is prone to errors of judgement, the occasional whim or caprice and yearns for an uncluttered life; yet he still retains a deadly efficiency and a cold, hard ability to carry out difficult tasks, both in his own name and in that of the Queen.
I hope the 700+ viewers enjoyed reading The Blink of an Eye as much as I enjoyed writing it, a process which started as long ago as December 2008.
Any feedback is welcome.
As stated at the end of the novel, James Bond will return in

Ahhh, thnx Harry, always good to hear from you and glad you're enjoying it. Let me know what you think of the piece once you're completed.
I've just cracked open a bottle of Barolo tonight to celebrate the completion of my first draft of Those Who The Gods Love Die Young, so am hoping to get some reading done while I mull over the revision. Thinking of tackling some of JIM's work...
Also need to restart my marathon re-read of Gardner's novels...
So plenty on for the long summer nights.
All the best, Chris
