Good day fellow CBners. Happy 2010 to you all!
Charlie is making a return to the Television in Bellamys People. I just saw a trailer and he has full prosthetics on as an old man. Looks quite funny. To learn more see the below link.

And I thought he had turned his back on the comedy. Nice to see him back, he is a talent.

Well that was nice, not sidesplitting and a little slow to start, but nice and a promising first episode for a series that will hopefully build. Down the Line was/is better and it's not the easiest TV-Radio transition but it's interesting that they're approaching this as more or less a follow on from Down the Line, rather than an adaptation, and aren't regurgitating material as is the norm.

I thought it was great: a really decent transfer of the Down the Line style. The 'making of' on the red button after was possibly even funnier!
Anyone think Higson looked oddly like Harry Enfield as the old fella? And his David Arnold look next week is quite spooky!

He did look a little like Enfield, yes. Some of the make-up on it is amazing, as it was in Harry & Paul.
The Red Button bit didn't work for me!

Not a problem: here it is.
Yes, the make-up really is nearly there, isn't it? The fatter of the two old ladies was very nearly entirely convincing.
