I've bought my 11-year-old cousin the Quantum of Solace for PS2 for Christmas. I've played the first three missions missions on Xmas day (from White's Estate to Haitian Docks), and then I returned to his house and he reached up to the Madagascar mission. When I left him he was starting the Eco Hotel mission. As he was anxious to play, he skipped some intros, and there's where I need your help.

1. How's the Opera mission? I've played it on the Snoy Style store for PS3, but is the PS2 version any different?
2. And what about the Sinkhole mission? My cousin told me that the helicopter was.
3. How are we introduced to the Casino Royale flashbacks?
4. How does Bond stop Carlos? My cousin skipped that B)
5. How's Vesper capture scene handled? Since my cousin skipped that (again), I only saw James getting out of the boot of the car, shooting the goons and then the Barge level started. BTW, I was surprised that they gave Kratt a lot of screentime in the game. And the torture scene was quite inoffensive compared to the film and the novel.
6. My cousin, once again, skipped what followed after the end of the level, where

. All I saw next was Bond and Camille returning to the Grand Andean, Bond escaping from M's bodyguards, and everything else. So... How is the Venice scene handled? The sinking building, Vesper's dead and the rest?

Thanks for the help!

I'm gonna be working on the Barge level walkthrough today. I'll look into your questions today. I can't really answer your first two questions since I have only played the PS2 version, however, to answer your other questions:
Spoiler

Made the answers spoilers cause not every one may have not played it.

Thanks Jaws! Strange, I remember watching a video from the PS3 version that showed Vesper getting drowned

Unfortunately, and this is something that I have said since the beginning, those of us who were not willing to take out second mortgages on our homes so that we could get next gen consoles kind of got shafted. I've read alot of stuff about the next gens and it kinda ticks me off, but thats just me. Also, not a problem. I'm doing the barge now.

Yes he is. I remember doing it a couple of times. How is your cousin doing on the game?

He went on holidays now. He'll be back this Sunday. The last time I saw him he was playing the Eco Hotel level.

Oh yeah. It is very difficult. Since you are a "Proud defender of Pierce Brosnan", I'll help you. Mind you this may not be very helpful. It is all a matter of two things, number one: you don't have much time, and number two: try not to waste time killing everybody. Kill only those who are direct threats to you.

We've just killed Medrano and finished the game! Too bad it ended there B) According to my cousin, he killed Greene and Elvis earlier.

Yeah, you kill Greene and Elvis before Medrano. Congratulations. Did you enjoy it?

I couldn't agree with you more. I also didn't like the fact that you didn't really get any cutscenes per se. All you got was a computer monitor with a voiceover

Yep. i'd loved to see Bond crashing, Vesper getting drowned, etc.
And instead of that White/Haines ending, i'd put a last level in Kazan where you have just to infiltrate Yusef's apartment, and that's it. you get the movie's ending.
