Just something I was wondering after many times being asked why I don't just borrow the new Bond book (or any book for that matter) from the library, especially recently after talking about getting the DAD novelisation.
On average, I probably read one Bond novel, Fleming, Amis, Gardner, or Benson, a month.

I try to read a Bond novel about once every two months, but with school and everything it is hard. In my spare time, though, I will read some Bond. Even though I would like to read one every two months, I only probably get one every three months or so. I have only read Fleming so far, but I do have a couple Benson.

One a month is my motto.
I just finished Thunderball a few weeks ago. I'm debating either Icebreaker or Zero Minus Ten next.
As to other books - I finished "Executive Orders" just before picking up TB. I like Clancy's Jack Ryan stuff and EO gives us President Jack Ryan and is just great.

How ironic I am currently reading Executive Orders by Tom Clancy and I am on page 1053 and it is great. I will try finishing it before Die Another Day is released so I can read Bond while a new Bond film is released. I have read all original Bond novels by Benson and I believe the next one I will read Icebraker by Gardner. I have only read License Renewed, For Special Services, Nobody Lives Forever, and Scorpius by Gardner. So I hope Icebraker is great. My favorite Bond novel by Gardner is Scorpius.

I try to read one either monthly or bi-monthly, but it's not always a novel. It's my rule to read something James Bond. At the moment it's The James Bond Legacy, which is a mammoth book!

I finished reading Casino Royale on 20 August and have been reading through all of Fleming's book in sequence since then. Am up to TMWTGG.
I have an hour on the train every day to kill.

I haven't read a Bond book for ages come to think of it, as soon as my exams finish I'll dust them all off and re-read them. Doctor No and The Man with the Golden Gun are the ones I read the most, good Summer time reads.

As many times as I can get one. I personally go to a library to check a book out as soon as I finish the current book. Usually my local library doesn't have any bond novels so I order them from other libraries and they usuallly come in when I finish the current book I'm on.

If you go to my website you will see that I am constantly adding new reviews.
I read a few Flemings, Gardners, and Bensons since 1998. 2 Summers ago I read ALL the FLEMINGS and Amis.
Last Summer all the BENSONS
This year all the GARDNERS. Right now I am at the end of SeaFire, which I enjoy very much! All I have is COLD, GOLDENEYE, and LICENCE TO KILL! Then Benson's TMWTRT, put off b/c of the Gardners.
FOUR MORE AND THEN I HAVE READ THEM ALL!!!!!!
Except for Woods but I just don't count them. How do you have Moonraker twice??
