I have recently found a great site which features posters for imaginary Bond films that have and will never happen.
(To see it, go here http://007art.free.f...es/alternat.htm)
This got me thinking - what imaginary Bond film would be your fantasy, if you could control every element, from who plays Bond, the plot, the title, the girls, the villains, the time in which it takes place and the locations? Could any artists among you even come up with a poster of their alternative Bond film?

I've toyed around with ideas like this for ages!

The one that I think would work the best was Connery doing Moonraker in '67 as his last film (more true to the novel's plot). Haven't thought about cast on that one. Lazenby goes on to do OHMSS as it was and then stays on for one more film to do You Only Live Twice as the "revenge" film. After that, Moore comes in and does his era as it was.

But it's hard to think of a world without Diamonds Are Forever and You Only Live Twice as they are now.

I'd be interested to read your fantasy Bond flick ideas, Bondpurist. Pretend you're in charge of putting together a cast and crew - but from people who are still active or could still be active today (i.e. nobody like Donald Pleasence coming back as Blofeld).

Presumably you'd resurrect your man Dalton as 007 (and John Glen as director?), or would you leave the champ in retirement and put Clive Owen to work?

Haven't done SHATTERHAND yet, I take it? That's one I'd like to see. Wish they had used it for DAD. The Property of a Lady is a title I'd like them to use.

If only I had some fanart software.

Great poster, You know I'm still really cheesed off at the way Dalton didn't do and probably won't do at least one more.

Yes, that Win, Lose, or Die poster is fantastic. Very imaginative.

If I had to pick one to do, I'd go with Casino Royale. Maybe down the road somewhere, I'll give it a shot.
