I'd flip the positions of Colonel Sun and Devil May Care... but, other than that, I think that's it. B)

Yeah, Colonel Sun takes place in 1965 while Devil May Care is set in 1967.

But yes, the rest of the order is correct.

Thanks chaps, I plan on re-reading them in order. I thought I read that Devil May Care was set in between The Man with the Golden Gun and Colonel Sun? No idea where I got that from.

I guess one could insert The Moneypenny Diaries in there somewhere? Or is it more like a side dish? Dip your fingers into it in between the other books? B)

This makes interesting reading Double-Oh-Agent. Where did the Moneypenny short story's appear? I cant say I even knew. B)

Does Gardner and Benson's books all follow slight references to the last in your opinion? I have only read a handful of them. This is some reading list.

Happy to oblige.

For Your Eyes Only, James can be found in the November 2006 issue of the U.K. magazine Tatler.

Moneypenny's First Date With Bond can be found in the November 6, 2006 issue of the U.K. magazine The Spectator.

I'm not positive that ALL of Gardner's and Benson's books "follow slight references to the last", but a number of them do--as well as mentioning references to previous works by themselves and other Bond authors. Regardless, I find them all worth reading.
