He ALWAYS goes on this show when he's promoting something! (He's been on it before to plug CR, QOS, and Defiance!) He must love it

I wonder if we will get any tidbits on the 23rd bond film.....
He has to know SOMETHING!! right?
There may not be anything to know yet considering there's been very little Bond 23 news thus far, but we'll see...

There's nothing for him to say about Bond 23 because there's nothing going on with the film other than Morgan, Purvis, and Wade working on the script. There's not even a targeted release date from the film, and all MGM has to say on that matter is that they're going to announce it in "due time" (studio speak for "we'll get to it when we get to it"). Basically, Craig can't comment on Bond 23 because, as of now, Bond 23 basically does not exist outside of an unfinished first draft of a script.

Anderson Cooper is the co-host that day (someone Daniel met before and hit it off with at the Oscars 07) so that might be an incentive over Regis.
They (Craig and Hugh) pulled out of a GMA appearance too but let's face it, the play has broken all box office records, $12 m in advances sales, so does he have to promote it at this point?
As for Bond 23, I'm sure he won't talk about it, not what he is there for. He'll just shrug and say "You'll know when I know" or something like that.
But if he doesn't turn up, then this is all moot.

Yep... I just heard from the 'Live with Regis and Kelly' staff that his appearance is cancelled for this Friday, but is going to be rescheduled very soon. We'll update you all when we hear more!

Qwerty:
Any idea why Hugh and Craig keep canceling? I mean there isn't anything to promote now as the play is sold out, etc etc.
Seems too coincidental that Oprah seems to be the only thing they have appeared on (afternoon surprise visit) but the TV scheduled things seem to be no go's.
Do they not like getting up too early?

'fraid I didn't get all the details. I just know that Craig is planned to be on the show soon. Must have been some sort of scheduling conflict in there somewhere.

Meanwhile, Katie Couric has a webshow, and she did a 45-minute interview with Hugh. The whole interview is here:

But it's also broken down into segments. Here's the part where Hugh talks about the infamous cellphone incident and listen to the fantastic things he has to say about Daniel.

If those don't work it's also on YouTube:

Anyone catch this? I was on the bus on the way to class when I realized this was today, and forgot to set my DVR to record it. Did DC give any information about the status of Bond 23? Particularly in light of his recent comments that they would start shooting at the end of next year, I think he'd probably say something. Anyone know if this is online somewhere?
No he apparently did not talk about Bond at all. I did read it was pre taped so his Bond remark at the stage door might have come after his taping.
