Bond eats (a) Danish in TND. Oh, come on now...

Ah, you always were a cunning linguist, glidrose.

Although he doesn't get a chance to eat them, Bond has a box of hamburger patties in his Hotel Fontainebleau refrigerator in Goldfinger.    The box is clearly (via Blu-ray) seen on the shelf as Oddjob karate-chops 007 into unconsciousness.  However, the box is conspicuously missing when Bond regains consciousness and gets to his feet.

I guess Oddjob's palate extends beyond to just enjoying the occasional housecat fricassee!

I wonder if Bond and Swann have a meal in SPECTRE?

i'd say this is one big difference with the novels. Fleming put in such great detail about the food, but in the movies if Bond eats it's usually caviar or nothing.

Stuffed sheep's head would be the worst item on the menu!

I seem to recall Bond eating a few roasted peanuts in The Man with the Golden Gun after the Solex switcheroo.

Of course, Bond in the books seems to consume scrambled eggs every other page or so, so you'd think at some point they would be included in the films. I imagine Craig was probably eating scrambled eggs with his toast and caviar in CR.

Fleming's description of Bond's meals are a big highlight of the novels to me. In the movies food barely comes up. I suppose seeing it rather than reading it described wouldn't be the same.

Food almost comes up in Dr. No, after Bond kills the tarantula, but the camera cuts away in time.

Indeed...that scene from the book was too graphic to get past the censors in 1962, no doubt...Now if Dr. No had been made in 2016 on the other hand...LOL!!

I that case does LOL mean "Lose Our Lunch"?

In any event, the film makers substituted something else for extended food scenes:

"Sex for dinner, death for breakfast."
