I think Craig should be bearded for Bond 23

Sure Brosnan Bond sported one, but that was only briefly, and it was all scraggly. I'm talking about the type of beard Craig had in Golden Compass. Come on, who's with me!? Bearded Bond in Bond 23

Moneypenny is Bond's beard.
Are you insinuating that Bond is gay?

No,just saying Monepenny has enough hair down there to substitute as Bond's beard. If he walked around with her crotch on his face it would look even better.

I think Craig pulls off a beard much better than any other Bond actor save for Connery. Craig looks so cool with a beard, where is it said that Bond can't have a beard?

No.
No.
A thousand times no.
Bond would never sport a beard through choice. It's unthinkable. Where, you ask, is it said that Bond can't have a beard? Well, nowhere, but, still, it's one of those unbreakable unwritten rules of Bondage. Bond is the sort of man who'd consider a beard or any kind of facial hair to be scruffy and/or unnecessary.
That said, I'd be okay with Craig's Bond having a beard for part of a film if it were made clear that he'd grown it purely for a cover. For example, the PTS has Bond posing as a scientist in order to get his hands on a formula for a chemical weapon, so we see him with spectacles, a beard and the very unBondian clothing of a left-leaning academic. And then he's cleanshaven again after the opening credits. That sort of thing would be okay.
But Bond choosing to grow a beard? Never! No, sir, never!

I was reading one of the Flemings a few months ago, forget which one, and there was the sentence: "Bond selected his gayest tie."

I bet you would've said the same about Rocky and Rockiage, prior to ROCKY IV.Bond would never sport a beard through choice. It's unthinkable. Where, you ask, is it said that Bond can't have a beard? Well, nowhere, but, still, it's one of those unbreakable unwritten rules of Bondage.

Well, not totally unwritten: there's an argument in Fleming to support your theory Loomis: if memory serves, it is said somewhere one of the bees in M's bonnet is that he distrusts men with a beard.
And as for Craig, he looks old enough to be my father when he sports a beard, from what I've seen, so, no thanks

No, because there was no decades-old mythology detailing Bond and his meticulous, fastidious, obsessive-compulsive grooming habits and personal tastes. I mean, it's not as though the ROCKY III script contained things like:
APOLLO: You wanna drink, champ? Duke'll make us some tea.
ROCKY (continuing to duck and weave and jab into the thin air at invisible opponents): Hey, yo, I don't drink tea. Cup o' tea? Cup o' mud, if you ask me. Y'know.
APOLLO: Okay, well, I'm gonna hit the shower. You got some shampoo I can borrow?
ROCKY: Absolutely. I got some Pinaud Elixir in my locker. Don't wash my hair with nothin' else.

I remember that as well although I can't remember which book.Well, not totally unwritten: there's an argument in Fleming to support your theory Loomis: if memory serves, it is said somewhere one of the bees in M's bonnet is that he distrusts men with a beard.

Agreed. There is no way Bond would sport a beard by choice.I wouldn't mind a light stubble, but a full on beard, nope.

His beard alone has experienced more than a lesser man's entire body
OK, let's give it a try.

He once had an awkward moment...just to see how it felt.
He lives vicariously...through himself.

I like that idea. I can see him in a striped shirt and a polka-dotty bow tie. Other than than, no. Definitely not. Bond with a beard because he wants one is rather like having Q saying "Right, Bond, have yourself some tacky, cheap foreign car. No gadgets. Couldn't be bothered, quite frankly. Don't worry if it doesn't come back: we're origami'ing a new one right this instant."
*gets off soapbox*
