Here's a true story, written in a bizarre way.

1) I found out Jill St. John was going to be performing with her husband, Robert Wagner in a show called, "Love Letters"

2) Unfortunately I couldn't get the night off.

3) So on my hour break I went down to the theatre at which they were going to be performing and looked around the exterior of the building for the stage door.

4) Several minutes... I found the stage door.

5) Thinking, "What have I got to lose?" I walked up the steps and walk inside through the stage door.

6) A man in a chair gets up and walks over to me.

7) He says, "Are you with the ...show?"

8) Instead of giving and honest answer I say, "Actually, I'm Robert Wagner's son. Haven't they arrived yet?"

9) I chat with the man for several minutes.

10) A few minutes later, a woman (clearly the woman who booked the show) comes by.

11) The jig is up and I know it.

12) The woman talks to me for a few moments and says "You are NOT Robert Wagner's son. Get out NOW before they show up!"

13) I leave via the stage door, but hang around outside and out of their sight.

14) About an hour later, I see a white Lincoln pull up.

15) I notice a red-headed woman sitting in the front passenger's seat.

16) It is Jill St. John.

17) I walk over with my "Diamonds Are Forever" lithograph and my copy of James Bond The Legacy.

18) As she and Robert Wagner get out of the vehicle I say, "Ms. St. John? I was wondering if I could get you to sign a few things for me."

19) "Sure!" she says as she begins to sign the lithograph.

20) Robert shoots me a smile, clearly pleased that someone my age is a fan of his wife.

21) Robert and Jill are impressed with the lithograph

22) Robert, Jill and I talk as Jill signs. (I didn't ask her to sign the book because I thought asking for more than one was pushy)

23) I ask Jill if she is going to be at the premier next month

24) "No, I can't make it," she says.

25) Robert notices the book and says, "What's that? Do you want her to sign that too?"

26) "If she has time," I respond

27) Jill takes it and signs the book on the page with her photo on it.

28) She finishes signing it and we proceed to talk about Bond, the Broccolis, and my Bond obsession.

29) Jill asks if I'm going to see the show tonight.

30) "I really want to, but I'm supposed to be at work right now. I tried to get tonight off, but I couldn't. I'm sorry." I say.

31) "That's too bad. Hopefully we'll meet again," she says. (there was a tear in her eye, I'm sure)

32) I say, "Have a good show and thanks again!"

33) I run back to my car, go to work, and am happy the rest of the night.

34) THE END.

I honestly have no idea where that came from. I guess I thought I would be "allowed" to hang out backstage while I wait for them. Instead I was thrown out and told I couldn't get an autograph.

Something I've learned is that you should never listen to the people who think they have some sort of power regarding the star because ultimately the star will come by and try to make you happy. I'm sure that a lot of stars would be disgusted to find out how their fans are treated by these people.

Thanks. I'm trying different writing styles in my "personal" stuff and I think writing like that adds a bit of humour and strangeness to an otherwise ordinary story.

When I come back in my next life, I want to be you. :)

No, actually you don't.

Wow... great story Jordan! I've met Claude Rudolph in January (who played Akakievich in The World is not Enough) and we talked about the Bond franchise as well. He was very into it :)

You guys are so lucky. The closest I've ever got to someone related to the Bond franchise is standing next to Arthur Wooster at Holywell Bay and not even realising, until his Mobile rang and I heard his voice. Then some women called him away so I didn't even get chance to talk to him.

I've figured somewhere around 117 Bond-related autographs are in my collection.

This is very cool considering I hear a lot of horror stories about fans trying to obtain autographs. Many may be going about it the wrong way but it sounds like you did so in a textbook way. Congratulations, Jordan.

Nice one, Jordan!

I think the closest thing to a celebrity I've ever met is professional bowlers and people from ESPN.

I do have a paperback copy of TWINE with Benson's sig in it...

I had dinner recently with a woman, and we happened to see someone who looked a lot like Charles Gray. Amazing. There are also two guys who come in the place I work who look exactly like Mr. Wint and Mr. Kidd. Remarkable.
