Does anyone ever read these things and start to think that maybe, just maybe, you're not getting as much out of life as some?

The former, yes, the latter, no. Although one has made me headdesk from my lack of a life. Spent about three minutes arguing with my computer that Jack Churchill should be #1 on their list of insanely badass soldiers.

I recently bought a DVD with the most famous secret agents before WWII. If I remember correctly, this guy Richard Sorge was-as people say- teh real James Bond.

Generally, I like watching documentaries about spies and espionage(Stasi, CIA and so). It seems that things are conpletely different that what we see in a Bond film!

I'm surprised the author didn't mention Sidney Reilly, considering his life story and the ridiculous balls it took to pull off all that he did, but I'm really surprised at the story of Fritz Duquesne; I didn't know it was actually proven that he blew up Lord Kitchener's ship. B)

Yeah, I was surprised not to see Reilly, the 'ace of spies' on the list as well. He could have been called a real-life James Bond himself.

I've forgot him! Sidney Rilley was maybe the closest real spy to James Bond!

Hull Daily Mail march 28 2013(http://www.thisishul...l#axzz2OpLVeInK)

City's original James Bond

IF DANIEL Craig bought a home in Beverley, it would not be the first time a Bond has had associations with our region.

In my book The Spy Who Had No Faith In The World(http://www.amazon.co...64464859&sr=1-1), I have been able to show without a doubt that the "real" James Bond was well acquainted with Hull and the East Riding.

I mean Solomom Georgevitch Rosenbloom,  AKA Sidney Reilly, the alias given him by the British Special Branch, and the man who became known as the Ace of Spies and Ian Fleming's model for James Bond.

In Hull in 1900, he was recruited by Albert Kaye Rollit MP and ex-Lord Mayor of Hull, Henry Hozier (later Churchill's father-in-law) and Charles Wilson, West Hull MP.

They formed The Oleum Syndicate, an oil consortium, and employed Sidney Reilly on his first international espionage mission to bring back from Baku information on Russia's oil production.

Ronald Fairfax,

Princes Avenue, Hull.

Also, the bigger the balls the more difficult to walk. So, nothing you really want.

And to state it one more time: big balls, by some people thought of as a synonym for more courage and power, actually do not mean more testosterone. Which in itself, by the way, is not too good for a man since it goes along with hair loss and a bone-headed temper which makes one disregard reason.
